Efficient LED Lighting Systems’ core strength lies in turnkey energy efficient lighting & controls upgrades. Based on repeated energy studies, we’ve learned that LED lighting retrofits typically offer our customers the shortest payback and greatest return on their investment (ROI). Depending on the application customers have been able to achieve lighting energy savings of up to 70%, while maintaining or improving the existing light levels. LED lighting is without doubt the most efficient lighting solution on the market, and given technology improvements and availability, LED lighting is now a very economical solution.

In addition to the substantial energy savings, LED lighting offers many other benefits to customers. Some of these include:

LEDs are not made of glass and are hollow inside, they are far less fragile than both fluorescent and incandescent bulbs. This makes them much more durable, less likely to be inoperable due to being dropped, and can withstand harsh conditions. They are resistant to shock, vibrations and external impacts, they make great outdoor lighting systems for exposure to weather, wind, rain or even external vandalism, traffic related public exposure and construction or manufacturing sites. For freezer rooms and iceboxes, they are the perfect bulbs.

Compared to fluorescent, and particularly HID, lighting LED emits very little heat generating additional savings from reduced HVAC costs.

LED illumination produces little infrared light and close to no UV emissions.

Current LED chip technology allows the latest LED fixtures to have a life expectancy of over 100,000 hours. LED lamps & bulbs have a typical useful life of over 50,000 hour.

Given LED lightings ability to dim and turn on/off instantly, incorporating controls is now a very attractive solution. In previous years lighting controls were expensive and only cost-effective for a small number of applications. However significant advances in technology have allowed controls to become a very viable option for customers.
